A familiar DIY submachine gun design used by the perpetrator of the attack on a synagogue in the Germany city of Halle earlier today. An improvised ‘slam-fire’ pipe shotgun also appeared to have been used.

Fellas, it is to be recommended to view the NZ Mosque Shooting and the Halle Incident in comparision, copycat very likely. But the Halle Perp did make a number of unexplainable mistakes.
He knew the Lutys wouldnt fire burst without extractor ejector, but he didnt fit these parts in place.
Mags were of lousy workmanship too, woudlnt feed properly
Energetics of far out silly choice of Chemicals, although there are plenty of Perchlorate/ Al-Mixtures readly available, illegal though.
All this he knew beforehand! Mad bastard!

Admittedly I haven’t been following the coverage of this attack particularly closely, but none of the reports I did read mentioned that he used improvised/home-built weapons. That does explain something I’d been wondering about, which is why none of the coverage I saw mentioned calls for stricter gun control.

Hi, ist ist evident that german media policy is to negate the perpretators equipmen! Non one in the media and the political class wants to be proofed a blatant liar during 40 years of ever “stricter” gun laws”, as the Halle Crimescene unveils that they werer wrong in every aspect.
Homemade: SMgs, their ammunition; Slamfire guns and ammo, Single shot pistol and Ammo, Ammo for Muzzelloader (not used), Detonators, Boosters and Main charges.
All made from commonly available materials. Some soundly crafted, some components irritatingly neglected.
Ammo seems to be mediocre at best, mostly due to bad processing of components.
Detonators and Boosters were quite well, but with a most hygroscopic and chemically reactive main charge of apparently wet ammonal.
SMgs definitly build without ejector/extractor mechanism. Perp complaint about malfunctions, but never corrected them beforehand.
Two SMGs built in different style. One apparently from metal luty design, one with cocking slot and lever centered on the left side of upper reciever.
Silly attachtments to slam fire guns. Perp handles these items as unskillfull as a caveman would.
So all the media and cream ofthe political establishment try to keep it down, as this crime was just a 1st order legal blunder on gun crime prevention. As shortly the ban on “large Magzines” was annonced, the perp just fitted some mags from sheets metal as well as 3Dprinting…
